I hope your daughter's health is restored soon and that good will come of what you are going through. I look forward to following your journey with the simplifying too.

BronwynAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307360448382903712.post-66988206953136074552014-03-23T16:27:17.004+11:002014-03-23T16:27:17.004+11:00Hi Bronwyn. I feel so humbled when someone who has been through what you've gone through is encouraged by my story which is a very small challenge in comparison. I do hope God keeps comforting you and providing encouragement to keep trusting Him as you move through each day. It's been very encouraging reading your story and hearing about your trust in God during such a difficult circumstance.

I'm also moving towards living more simply and I enjoy reading about how others are simplifying their homes and lives, especially when that is motivated by a desire to focus on what matters most.

2 years ago my husband and I were about to begin church planting when he was stuck down with chronic fatigue. He has had better patches and worse patches, but he has been mostly bedridden/housebound this past 2 years. It's been a huge upheaval for our family (we have 2 little kids) and although I know that God is looking after us, it is still a constant exercise in trusting him. So I just wanted to say thank you for your post and for the encouragement to keep trusting him.

BronwynAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4307360448382903712.post-40134424718463709962014-03-13T12:32:13.408+11:002014-03-13T12:32:13.408+11:00Thanks for sharing your honest feelings Jenny. Raising kids isn't a competition it's a calling- something we respond to with love, rather than race- a questing after some laurel. Blessings, love and prayers. AFAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
